BIBLE CHALLENGE 2025

Elementary Parents,

Your family is invited to participate in a new Biblical literacy program at UABC. Modeled after the traditional Bible Drill program, elementary students will be challenged to memorize 25 Bible verses, 10 key passages of Scripture, and all 66 books of the Old & New Testament this school year. Students who work to memorize these portions of Scripture and are able to find them in a Bible will be awarded the 2025-2026 UABC Bible award at the end of the school year.

Each month, your family will receive 2 to 3 Bible verses to work on together and a key Scripture passage your student will memorize the title & reference for (i.e. they will not memorize all of the verses in the passage, but where the passage is located). We will also be working on each students’ ability to find the verses & key passages in their Bibles. Finally, we will spend the fall semester memorizing the Old Testament books of the Bible and the spring semester learning the New Testament books of the Bible.

It is our joy to continue to come alongside you in discipling your child. We believe helping our children know, study, & memorize God’s Word will serve them well for the rest of their lives as they journey with Jesus. We know your lives are busy and homework can be crazy. We hope your family will make time to regularly practice memorizing these Scripture passages, verses, & book names together. We can’t wait to see all God does in and through us as we study His Story together this semester!
