God’s love helps us to be CURIOUS about Him and His world

God’s love helps us to UPLIFT others.

God’s love helps us to be RESILIENT when things don’t go the way we planned.

God’s love helps us to LEAD others in good works.

God’s love helps us to say YES to God, obeying Him and those He places in authority over us.

WHY DO WE DO THIS?

In a world that honors academic success, sports achievements, and more, we want to set aside time to acknowledge that God is the hero of each child’s story. God is actively at work in and through each of our children. During the C.U.R.L.Y. Awards, parents will be given time to present their child(ren) a metal and express one (or more) ways they have seen God’s love on display in their child’s life this year. This year, we have 5 categories for our C.U.R.L.Y. Awards. Each child will receive a metal for 1 of the 5 categories of your choosing.

We are each made in the image of God. God’s love is unconditional, self-sacrificing, others-centered, and active. As we receive God’s love, God empowers us to love Him and love others. This year we will be celebrating ways we have seen God’s love in the lives of our keiki.
