When is camp?
Camp is July 21-25. Check-in for camp begins at 3 PM on Monday. Camp ends around 11 AM (after clean up and completed).
Who can attend camp?
Camp is for students who have completed grades 6-12.
Where is camp?
Camp is at Pu’u Kahea Conference Center (PKCC) in Waianae. 85-199 Ala Hema Street, Waianae, HI 96792.
What should I bring to camp?
Bible, notebook, pencil or pen
Pillow, Sheets/blanket or sleeping bag
Everyday clothes
Swimsuit
Toothbrush/toothpaste
Soap & shampoo
Towels & washcloth
Water bottle
Deodorant, lotion, etc.
Slippers, athletic shoes
Insect repellent
Sunscreen
Flashlight
What do I need to do to register my child for camp?
Complete the online registration form
Complete the Pu’u Kahea Conference Center form
Student & parent complete UABC’s camp agreement
Submit $200 payment to UABC
Checks preferred - write check out to UABC & put child’s name & youth camp in the memo line.
Checks may be given to Dani Beth.
If your child served at the Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser, you should have received an email with the amount they earned toward their camp expense.
UABC will send 1 check to OBN for all of the campers & chaperones.
What are the camp rules?
Visitors are welcome at Pu’u Kahea Conference Center when pre-arranged with camp director the day of the visit. (Minors must be accompanied by an adult.)
Smoking or use of alcohol or non-prescription drugs is strictly prohibited.
— Anyone discovered using these substances will face immediate disciplinary action &/or be sent home.
Youth are allowed off campus for beach time & mission time only.
— Anyone discovered off campus without camp director’s permission will face immediate disciplinary action &/or be sent home.
Each youth is expected to respect the Lord Jesus Christ in attitude, language, action & dress.
— Minor infractions will be dealt with jointly by youth’s church counselor & camp director.
— Continuous infractions will result in youth being sent home.
All participants expected to reflect Christian example by their attire.
— Immodest shorts, tops, distasteful designs or messages, & other extreme clothing are prohibited.— Modest one-piece bathing suits or two-piece suits covered with a dark colored t-shirt are allowed.
Each camper is expected to attend his/her Bible study group & all worship services.
Each youth will show respect to all adult leaders at camp, regardless if the adult is their church counselor.
— If a youth displays disrespect to any adult, he/she will be taken to their church counselor & camp director for disciplinary action.
